Empowering Developers of Color in the Bay Area

Launched by Capital Impact Partners, this innovative program was created to ensure that real estate developers truly reflect their city’s diversity and promote the participation of developers of color in growth and revitalization efforts.

The Bay Area Equitable Development Initiative (EDI) program provides capacity building support for BIPOC real estate developers through training (a 20-week Learning Series), technical assistance, and access to capital. Combining local knowledge, strategic partnerships, and program design expertise, EDI supports developers of color in advancing their careers and making a positive impact on communities.
