About Rachel Lucero

Kreative Growth Program resident artist Rachel Lucero is a Filipina-American content creator, home cook, and community organizer based in San Francisco. Through her platform, “The Sago Show”, she challenges viewers to explore connections between Filipino food, history, and identity. As a former teacher, Rachel is passionate about education  and hopes her videos will both ignite viewers’ curiosity and empower them to take action for their community and homeland. Rachel has appeared at Pistahan SF, in university classrooms, and in profiles by Taste Cooking, Tatler Asia, and TFC-US.
