Visit the “Unsung Heroes Youth Podcast”, an artist exhibition presented by Balay Kreative during the 7th season of Undiscovered SF, a block party celebrating San Francisco’s Filipino cultural district – SOMA Pilipinas.

“Unsung Heroes” will feature Undiscovered Filipino American Stories told by Rochelle Berdan, Luci Herrera-Set, and Benedict Del Rosario. Listen and experience our stories through the lens of local, Filipino American high school students based in the Bay Area.

From Filipino Americans breaking into the restaurant industry in the homeland and reconnecting with our cultural traditions, to the path of healing intergenerational trauma, these students tackle big topics with the skills and practice they’ve gained through the Unsung Heroes Youth Podcast Program.
