Join CAST and KALW Public Media for an exclusive Open House of Warfield Commons during Market Street Arts’ Unstaged!

Warfield Commons is our one-of-a-kind home for artists, culture keepers, journalists & storytellers in the heart of San Francisco, and we’re opening our doors to the neighborhood for a sneak peek of what’s to come. Meet CAST and KALW, the nonprofit owners of the building, learn more about our work, and get to know our growing creative community, including newest addition, Psyched! Radio SF.

You’ll get to tour each of our spaces, and get a glimpse into the People’s Studio, KALW’s future home for music, news, information, and culture. Plus, KALW’s Audio Academy journalism fellows will be conducting street-side interviews, so come share your story about what you love about the city!

Stick around the neighborhood and get the full interactive arts experience at Unstaged from 4-7pm in partnership with Kultivate Labs — there will be plenty of good eats and drinks right on our block! UNSTAGED is a FREE, arts, music and community experience for absolutely everyone on Third Thursdays in the Mid-Market Entertainment Zone— Market Street between 5th and 6th. The event features new and returning artists each month, including live bands & DJs, buskers and makers, immersive soundscapes, performances, visual art and interactive creativity.

How to get to Warfield Commons:

We encourage using public transportation or Uber/Lyft/Waymo. Drop off location is 988 Market Street. Both the Powell and Civic Center Stations work great.If you decide to drive, paid parking with an attendant is available across the street at IKEA, with the entrance on Stevenson Street. Please note cars are not currently allowed on Market Street.
