California For The Arts CA Arts and Culture Summit 2024

The California For The Arts CA Arts & Culture Summit is an annual gathering featuring insightful conversations and workshops aimed at exploring initiatives that profoundly impact and shape the lives of all who work in the arts and all that is possible when we center art, creativity, imagination, and inspiration as integral to society. The Summit will take place during the CA for the Arts 6th Annual Arts, Culture & Creativity Month (ACCM) with this year’s thematic focus “Art Work is Real Work.”

This year, Ikeda will be speaking in a breakout session titled “Arts and Housing/Work Space.” He will be joined by Sharmi Basu from Vital Arts, Keith McNutt from Entertainment Community Fund, and moderator Megan Van Voorhis from the City of Sacramento to discuss the intersection of arts and housing/workspaces. Join them to hear more about how all three organizations work to secure space for artists so they can grow and thrive within their communities.
