CAST Event

Online Listening Sessions with CAST | July 10

Date: Monday, July 10, 2023

Time: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Location: Zoom

Engage in a dialogue and share your ideas and experiences to inform a Regional Art Center for the San Francisco Bay Area.

San Francisco, Oakland, Bay Area Artists, cultural workers, and arts organizations!

CAST is working with a developer to determine the feasibility of a new ~90,000-square-foot regional arts center in a high-profile redevelopment area along the southern waterfront in San Francisco.

We are deeply committed to ensuring that this development is aligned with the greater arts and cultural ecosystem in the Bay Area.

Engagement consists of a series of group listening circles, one-to-one conversations, and gatherings to determine potential programming and activities (uses) for the center and potential profiles of anchor tenants.

We are currently engaging with artists, cultural workers, and arts organizations/communities to learn the arts and culture landscape in the hyperlocal neighborhoods surrounding Dogpatch, Mission Bay, and Bayview throughout San Francisco, and in the immediate East Bay vicinity.
