Clayton Early Learning’s childhood education programs are specifically designed to serve economically vulnerable families. Its holistic approach to education and community programming allows for arts education to exist alongside its school.
Our Approach
In collaboration with Clayton Early Learning, CAST Colorado helped to negotiate an affordable home gallery for the Denver Center for African Art, and six affordable art studio spaces.
Impact
Embedding African art programming on an educational campus creates intergenerational cultural exchange and brings BIPOC arts organizations into a neighborhood that has historically lacked permanent cultural infrastructure.
