Introducing our Cultural Space Ambassadors!

Meet our Cultural Space Ambassadors! CAST is thrilled to announce our collaboration with the artist-led working group, the Cultural Space Ambassadors (CSA), a group lifting emerging and established leaders from Oakland’s arts and culture ecosystem dedicated to keeping creative space in Oakland.

Building on our Keeping Space – Oakland initiative and meeting since December 2018, we are encouraged by the depth of the CSA’s work and their efforts to identify the innovative ways in which creative enterprises in the San Francisco Bay Area thrive. Each ambassador was selected for their unique perspectives and inspiring work in the arts and culture sector. Together, their shared experiences streamline a channel for engaging peer-to-peer learning around new operating and space preservation models. Get to know them and their collective work HERE.
